What should I EXPECT: New clients to MegaCore can anticipate an invigorating and transformative experience in every class you take. From the moment you step into our studio, you'll be greeted by our supportive and knowledgeable instructors who will guide and encourage you throughout your session. How many times a week should I do MegaCore Lagree Class? The Lagree Method is made to be extremely efficient in the sense of the body and time. Each workout at MegaCore is at an intensity level to work the body to get maximum benefit in as little as 50 minutes. It is recommended to do the workout 3-4 times a week to start and allow for muscle recovery between classes. It is best to not come to class until muscles have been allowed sufficient rest to maximize results. MegaCore is made to make the most of your time and allow you to have to minimal workout time, it will stay challenging and always be a fun workout.
Do I need to include other types of exercise (like cardio or weights) alongside my MegaCore Lagree class? MegaCore provides a comprehensive total body workout that encompasses all the essential elements for maintaining fitness. While it is not mandatory to supplement with additional cardio or weight training, we encourage you to engage in any physical activity you enjoy. The body thrives on movement, and participating in MegaCore will enhance your conditioning, making you more effective in other forms of exercise.
How quickly can I expect to see results from MegaCore? You’ll notice changes in your body after your very first class, and with consistent practice (3-4 times a week), you can achieve noticeable results in just a couple of weeks. The Lagree Fitness method at MegaCore offers an effective approach to getting in shape, and when paired with a balanced diet, there are few limits to how quickly you can improve your physique.
Can MegaCore assist me in my weight loss journey? Absolutely! When incorporated into your routine, MegaCore can significantly aid in shedding pounds. The combination of strength training and muscle building not only contributes to weight loss but also reshapes your physique. The Lagree method employed at MegaCore focuses on developing muscle tone and increasing musculature. The more muscle you build, the more calories you burn daily. Who can do MegaCore? MegaCore can be done by almost anyone, the Megaformer allows for adjustments for every level of fitness.
Arrive early: All new clients should arrive 10 MINUTES EARLY, so that we can welcome you and explain the MEGA to you!
What should I wear: Comfortable workout clothes. Grip socks are NOT required, but highly recommended. We sell grip socks at the studio for you to purchase, if you want or if you forget them.
Should I take a group or private: MegaCore does not require you to start with private sessions as all classes are designed for a small group setting. Each client will have their own machine in class, and thus each exercise may be “adapted” to suit their current fitness level. If you are feeling uneasy and intimidated, an initial private session is recommended. Additionally, MegaCore offers “MegaCore Learn & Burn” Classes, which are still a full body workout done on the Megaformer, but is only 35 minutes and is taught with fewer transitions and focuses on positioning, structure, and understanding of each exercise/movement.
